That 70's dress..

Hello Closet Shoppers,
Happy Thursday, hope your week is going great thus far!  Here is another holiday party outfit which is a dress that I got from a vintage store on-line last summer.  It reminds me of the 70's with how it flows and the color is just amazing.  Haven't worn it out yet, just for photo shoots so maybe I will bring it out for the next party I have to attend.  Sometimes adding a belt to cinch your waist in a dress makes it all better, I had to do that with this dress because I wasn't feeling how it was looking by itself but, once I put that belt on it was all better.   Enjoy.
It was freezing this day can you tell? lol

One dress two ways all for the Holidays.

Hello Closet Shoppers,
So here is another outfit idea for the holiday parties coming up.  It's another sheath dress just like the one I posted about yesterday but this one is black and I also paired it with the same ruffle skirt to show you the different looks this skirt can give.  Again when something you like and fits you well make sure you get it in at least two colors that always comes in handy.  Do you all have a lot of Holiday parties to attend this year?  If so what are you wearing?  Hope you enjoy this post.

Ruffles have ridges...

Hello Closet Shoppers,
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving I know I did!  Since the holidays are upon us I wanted to give you all some Holiday Party outfit ideas since I am sure a lot of you will be attending these parties soon.  So my next couple of post will be on outfit ideas for the holidays.  Lets just jump right in shall we?  In this post i wore the same dress as I had on in my "These boots were made for Walking.." post, but i have it on as a shirt with a skirt and some cream booties and a fur.  This dress is a great two in one that's why i bought it in two colors in which you will see my other color in tomorrows post.  I think its called a sheath dress which definitely can be worn as a top with leggings and jeans with a belt.  Check that closet to see if you have something close to it and put it on with a skirt or some leggings and see how you like it, I bet you you will love it!

Changing up your look with four piece of clothing

Hello Closet Shoppers,
So this post I just wanted to show you how I used four items of clothing two tops and two bottoms to get different looks and of course I threw a jacket in there.  If you want to make use of whats in your closet, you definitely have to make sure you change up that top with a different bottom or that bottom with a different top.. again don't be afraid to be a repeat offender that's what clothes are made for to wear them right? right! lol.  So giving them a different look when you wear them is key to utilize all articles of clothing in that closet.  Trust me no one will notice, and if they do who cares.
I used the top and bottom from my previous post to show you how you can change up these items.  Hope you like.

The Difference a Coat/Jacket makes..

Hello Closet Shoppers,
Since it is fall and it's about to be frigid outside (if it isn't already!) I thought I would share an outfit post incorporating jackets and coats, so you can see the difference a jacket/coat makes an outfit.  I wore this outfit out to dinner for my friends bday last Friday, so I thought it would be great for this post.
Do you own a lot of coats?  Do you wear them often or stick to one?  I have a lot o coats but I stick tend to stick to one favorite in which I need to stop.

Cape-Thrifted, i am so in love with this cape i want to wear it everyday.  But don't you see how it totally changed the look of the outfit? And all i did was changed the blazer to a cape.

My Janelle Monae look for Halloween.

Hello Closet Shoppers,

On Saturday night I was invited to a post Halloween Party.   I was trying to figure out who I could be because of course I had to shop in my closet for the costume.  So I came up with Janelle Monae easy right?!  I just had to borrow a tie from my brother and go buy a white collard shirt (crazy I didn't have one in my closet, it's definetly a staple piece to have) which I found in forever 21 for $10.  I kept my accessories minimal since She doesn't wear to much.  And I just twisted my here towards the front and looped it to the side and bobby pinned it.  And Bam there is my Janelle Monae hope you like it.

About Last night's outfit...

Hello Closet Shoppers,
Happy Sunday to you!  Last night I went to dinner with some friend to celebrate one of their birthdays.  I opted to wear my harem pants with a lace top.  If I can only find a good pair of black harems then I would wear harem pants daily lol.  Do you like harem pants? Do you know wear I can get a good black pair?  Hope you like it.
